Ok, I'm just going through my bookmarks and came across Caught In the Fire by PerpetuallyCold. It's angsty, it's whumpy. What more could a girl want?
I think that the main theme of s1-5 Lucifer is healing. Today's rec goes really dark then follows up with slow, gradual, realistic healing.

Here's another short series. I know I'm not alone in wishing s5 could've taken a little more time to unpack the state of the family. "Gravitational Collapse" by AlexiaBlackbriar13 is a series of conversations with God.
Another oneshot: "Patrick the Bartender is Not Paid Enough For This Shit" by Liannabob. The title is pretty self explanatory. It's a hilarious longish oneshot and an excellent read.
I have a bunch of stories that I'm waiting to finish before I recommend. And there are a bunch of stories that get a lot of love elsewhere, so I'm looking through my bookmarks for things that aren't. Here's another oneshot: "Where The Night Swears Its Love To The Stars" by cjdecker. It's the shortest acceptable fixit to s6 that I've seen. Amenadiel is a good brother.
Since last time I did a longfic, I'd like to recommend a one-shot this time: "When Chloe Sang" by butterfly_gARDEN. It's cute and fluffy and features drunk Chloe.
I like longfics, so I'd like to recommend Caging the Devil by Hircine_Taoist. There were a lot of post s3 fics that tried to fill in what would happen next and this is one of the ones that really stood out.

Read an article today about why Americans think alcohol has health benefits and it's apparently another "well the French are healthy and they do X so it's healthy to do X."
So here's your periodic reminder that France (and Italy, and Sweden, and Japan, and basically every country you've seen in a "this country is so healthy, what's their secret?" headline) has universal health care.
The secret is access to health care. It's always access to health care.
